The Top Six Submissions In My Book

If there's one thing I love, it's a good 'ol fashion submission. Just knowing that someone is about to tap out to—or pass out from—a submission gives me satisfaction.
I want to know something. Why is Chris Jericho still using the Walls of Jericho? That move is basically a Boston Crab. I think it's time for him to ditch that move and stick to the Codebreaker. With that being said, Chris Jericho did not make my list. The Boston Crab is played out, the only old school submissions that are still fresh are the Figure Four and the Bear Hug (for the big men).
A move that I should have put on here is Khali's Vice Grip. The man is big and so are his hands, he's already powerful so it makes the move that much more powerful. I mean, he did defeat Ric Flair with it, didn't he?
Mariko Yoshida: Spider Twist
I first saw the Spider Twist on Youtube, and I'm still confused by the move. All I know is that she hooks an armbar on her opponent, and the rest is history from there. It feels good to know that women are using submissions, and it feels even better to see the women being creative.

Low Ki: Dragon Clutch
I like the Dragon Clutch because you never know when Low Ki is going to pull it out, it's a reserve finisher. What also stands out is that it's different from the Dragon Sleeper. It's a mix between the Dragon Sleeper and the Camel Clutch, hence the name, Dragon Clutch.
CM Punk: Anaconda Vice
Just in case, by some weird coincidence, the CM Punk runs across this: SCREW THE GTS! I want my beloved Anaconda Vice back! That was one of the coolest submissions ever. Hopefully he'll bring it back.
Kurt Angle: Ankle Lock
I think that everyone needs to realize that Ken Shamrock first introduced the Ankle Lock to the wrestling world, Kurt just made it famous. I think one of Kurt's greatest achievements was when he used the Ankle Lock to force Shawn Michaels to tap at WrestleMania 21. That match should stand out to for two reasons; first, it was a great match, and second, Angle was the first man to make HBK tap at WrestleMania.
Ric Flair: Figure Four Leglock
A legendary submission, created by "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers. This hold has been used by Dusty Rhodes, Greg Valentine, and man others, but when you see the move, or hear the name, only one person comes to mind—Ric Flair.
Whether used by Flair, or any other superstar, the fans can't help but say..." Woooooo!"
Chris Benoit: Crippler Crossface
My favorite submission is the Crossface. Benoit was looking for a new finisher, as he was using the Dragon Suplex as his finisher, when Dean Malenko gave Benoit the Crossface.
Edge, Triple H, Orlanda Jordan, Eddie Guerrero, MVP, the list goes on, name a wrestler and, more than likely, they've tapped to the Crossface. Today, Triple H and Shawn Michaels use the Crossface on occasions.
Before coming to the WWE, MVP competed on the independent circuit, as Antonio Banks, and used the Crossface as an homage to Benoit.
