Devils Back to Familiar Spot Picking Late in First Round of Entry Draft

The Devils will be back in a familiar position when the 2012 NHL entry draft begins Friday night at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. Having selected fourth overall last June, which allowed them to claim Swedish defenseman Adam Larsson, the Devils will have the 29th pick this year after going to the Stanley Cup finals. That’s a lot tougher position for the team’s scouting staff.
