Tracy was being Tracy for a parody of HBO's 24/7 shown during the NHL Awards, and it was hilarious.
If you want a quick description of what actually went down in this video, it's basically Tracy Morgan playing himself, but as a vital part of the New York Rangers as they prepare to take on the Philadelphia Flyers in the Winter Classic.
It's classic HBO 24/7, as real clips are spliced with ridiculous Tracy Morgan vignettes. Among the more popular will be Rangers coach John Tortorella talking about guys in the training room, and the camera cutting to Morgan being tended to by two women in bikinis.
The end of that particular segment finds Morgan opining about how, "It's not about Donald Duck, it's not about Goofy. It's about Mickey. I'm Mickey"
Of course, things take a sour turn for Morgan and the Rangers, and he needs to find solace in the most enigmatic personality in hockey.
The 30 Rock star finds a BFF in Flyers' Ilya Bryzgalov, and the talk gets turned to space and the solar system.
If you are going to watch any part of this magical video, you need to highlight the portion after the 2:00 minute mark.
That's where Morgan relays he and "Breezy" get together for some beers and generally just watch the solar system.
Bryzgalov may now enjoy the fact that he has a new nickname as the Yoda of hockey. Because, as Morgan so eloquently puts it, "that's Yoda's cousin, no doubt."
