As exciting as it is to see new superstars debut in WWE, when was the last time they made a statement on their first appearance?
The last ones I can think of off the top of my head are John Cena and Randy Orton.
Over the last 12-18 months, WWE have had several superstars debut and all we've seen from them are squash matches. That's fine for the first little while, but after that, it starts to get a little bit tedious.
I'm going to look at five of WWE's "newest" superstars that could do with a feud in the next couple of months.
As always, let's get some debate going, and leave your own suggestions in the comments section below!
Damien Sandow

The self-proclaimed saviour of the masses, Damien Sandow, is a guy who I've got huge hopes for.
We started to see vignettes for him just after WrestleMania this year and we've seen him a couple of times recently on Smackdown.
I'd like to see him involved in a midcard feud with someone like Kofi Kingston to see what he can do.
Squash matches against people like Yoshi Tatsu are fine, but we need to see guys like Sandow in actual feuds to see what they've got in their locker.
Ryback

His latest line at Sunday's No Way Out PPV was "feed me three!"
Please don't feed Ryback three more broomsticks to throw around the ring.
It's not helping him in the long run.
Some people weren't happy the last time that I likened him to Goldberg, but the fact is that if WWE keeps putting him in matches similar to the ones Goldberg had in 1997-98, then that's what's gonna happen.
It's rumoured that his sloppy in-ring work has led to some of his fellow contracted wrestlers refusing to work with him, which you can read about here.
Once he's sorted his issues out, Ryback needs a feud. Working with someone like the Big Show or Tensai would be perfect for him.
Antonio Cesaro

Make no mistake about it, Antonio Cesaro can go between the ropes.
Much like Damien Sandow, Cesaro has appeared sporadically on WWE TV since his debut after WrestleMania, and he's also got the look that the WWE office typically likes.
The problem is that too many guys debut without there being a point to their introduction.
Cesaro has all of the tools to replicate the success of his fellow ROH alumni CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
The only way anyone else will be able to tell that is if they see him in an actual feud.
Brodus Clay

Funk is on a roll, and somebody better call his momma!
Yes, the dancing dinosaur, Brodus Clay, is one man who certainly seems closer to getting a feud than some other names on this list.
Ever since Brodus got involved in the whole Big Show/John Cena/John Laurinaitis deal, it's done wonders for his character.
We've seen him have an extremely physical match with the Big Show, as well as assert himself with John Laurinaitis.
After what happened at No Way Out, it seems likely that Brodus will feud with Big Show over the next few weeks.
If not, then the big man needs something to stand out, apart from his dancing.
Otherwise, he's just a fresh face on the card without anything to do.
Sin Cara

The inclusion of Sin Cara on this list was a must for me.
Aside from injury/suspension, he's been on the main roster for over a year now and he's yet to do anything meaningful.
Sure, he's had matches with Chavo Guerrero (before he left WWE last year) and Hunico, but there's only so many times you can watch those matches without getting bored.
I think the thing that's holding him back is the fact that the crowd can't buy into his character.
His masked character is different from someone like Rey Mysterio, because you can see some of Rey's face through his mask, so you can tell what he's thinking. He can draw you in.
With Sin Cara, it's different. If you look at him when he's in the ring, it's like he's constantly spotting things out, like where he should be and what he should be doing. It doesn't look natural.
That isn't his fault, though. I've seen some of the matches he had in Mexico and they were just amazing!
I think that the sooner Sin Cara has a feud the better, and the returns of Rey Mysterio and Alberto del Rio can't come quickly enough.
Otherwise, I think that WWE might call time on the Sin Cara experiment.
