After a terrible first half shooting performance from both teams the North Carolina Tar Heels went into the half with an eleven point lead.  By watching the first half you wouldn't have thought these were two teams ranked in the top five.

Duke came out with a nice second half push with help from their senior Demarcus Nelson.  At the 9:45 mark Duke was able to tie the game at 57 with a Jon Scheyer Three-pointer.  At the 5:47 mark Duke took its first lead since it was 3-0 on a Scheyer layup.  North Carolina finished the game on a 10-0 run to beat the Blue-Devils and win the ACC title.

The killer in this game was rebounding.  Even though UNC only out-rebounded Duke by six, most of their rebounds were on offense and its hard to win a game when that's happening.  North Carolina had 15 blocked shots in this game.  High scorers for UNC were Green (18), Hansbrough (16), and Ellington (16).  Duke had Paulus (15), Scheyer (14), Henderson and Singler both had 10.

UNC finishes the season 29-2 and takes a lot of momentum into the tournament.  Duke finished 26-4 and will be bloodthirsty when it comes tournament time.
