Manny Pacquiao Buys a Brand New $500,000 Chopper
Owning a mansion, a brand new Ferrari and a multi-million dollar yacht is a must for superstar Manny Pacquiao. But all those items are nothing but fun and games. Partying on a yacht and in his mind-blowing mansion in the Philippines must be very entertaining, but he needed a real mode of transportation, something practical and gas conscious: so he bought a chopper for $18 million pesos ($427,000). Now the Filipino congressman can travel quickly to any part of the Philippines. Of course Manny will likely try to persuade most people that the expensive new toy was purchased for the reasons of helping him get to the important matters of his career more efficiently. I think that the Ferrari simply ran its course, and now it was time for something new and more exciting.
When congressman Pacquiao needs to fly, he charters a private jet. I am not too sure on the price range of something like that, but I assume that it’s a hefty sum. Most sports starts, movie stars and politicians charter private jets all the time, thus I think that a man that happens to be all of those deserves the same privilege.
If driving is required, Pacquiao gets into his new $220,000 Ferrari Italia 458. The first time he arrived to the Wild Card gym in that car, the fans went wild. Cars and people have a certain fit. Sometimes a car doesn’t fit its driver. A person can be too small or too big for their cars, but for Manny Pacquiao and his Italia, their match is superb; they really look great together.
When the sea is calling, Manny boards his $600,000 yacht. I remember there was a lot of drama circling around when Pacquiao made the purchase. The Philippines just went through a series of natural disasters, and money was really short. As a congressman, many people believed buying a yacht at times like those was a bad move.
And when it’s that time again, when Manny is tired and home is his next destination, he goes to his mansion in the Phillipines. I have seen this house on a video tour, and I have to say that it looks a lot more impressive on video that it does on pictures. It is a beautiful place with many amazing amenities.
Long story short, if anyone deserves all those things, it's Manny Pacquiao. After having achieved as much as he did in the world of sports and politics, I think that Manny should enjoy his new helicopter in anyway he sees fit.
