FILIPINO BOXERS: HUNGRY FIGHTERS

IT SEEMS MOST OF THE FILIPINO BOXERS ARE BECOMING HUNGRIER EACH DAY AS THE FIGHT SEEMS FEWER ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SCHEDULES OF FIGHT SPECIALLY BIG MONEY FIGHTS. EXCEPTION OF COURSE IS MANNY PACQUIAO.

The last time I heard that Gerry Penalosa was asking for a 200k fight did not materialize and it seems he was asking for a price way above his worth and it is unfortunate because he is a world champion.

Others like Bernabe Concepcion was only given 10k to 20k per fight and his promoter or manager was disgusted so they decided to fight for the meantime in the Philippines.

Nonito Donaire also had only one fight while most of the other big names languished in the Philippines for scrappy fights.

I don't know about the future of our fighters but as I observed, if Manny will retire soon, big money fights involving Filipinos will be a thing of the past.
