I am just trying to get a few peoples thoughts on this matter. Me and a buddy were arguing about Pat White and Chris Wells tonight—which one is better for their team, and which would be a better Heisman candidate.
I said Pat White because of what he HAS proven and what he has brought his team through so far. I told him Chris is a great player but I don't think he controls his team like Pat not just because of the position difference but just overall. This is excluding alot of great players, but this is just to see what people think about these two. Thanks for any input on this matter.

Both are players that bring a whole lot to their teams. While you were right about Pat White controlling his team, you must have missed the Ohio State-Michigan game when Chris Wells ran for 222 yards, including almost all of OSU's second half yards. That was his game.
I look forward to this coming season to see how both do, and I guarantee they'll both be in New York for the trophy presentation.
Nice post.

Another name I like for next year's Heisman: Knowshon Moreno

Unless we have another season like 2007-08, I don't think White will be in the mix, as the Heisman usually goes to a player on an elite team. WVU might win the Big East again, but I don't see them near the top of the rankings next year. So by default, I'd lean towards Beanie. OSU should be a 1 or 2 loss team, at worst.
Plus, WVU has the whole "sexual relations with their own family members" thing working against them.

How's your mother' third eye scar doing???? Yeah, Ohio State may lose 1 or 2 and still come up way short in another big bowl game. WVU would have scored more on the Buckeye's than they did OU.
