WWE News: Backstage Plans for Brock Lesnar-Triple H Feud, Match at SummerSlam

Following the disappearance of Brock Lesnar from WWE television after Extreme Rules in April, the fans of the former UFC and WWE Champion have been wondering and waiting to see when Lesnar will return to the ring.

With Triple H making an appearance to discuss the situation between the WWE and Brock Lesnar at No Way Out, the likely beginning of the feud between the two former champions will begin the build toward a match after Lesnar’s attack on the Game.

Here are the details from F4WOnline (via WrestlingInc.com) on what the WWE have planned for the feud between Triple H and Brock Lesnar for their match at this year’s SummerSlam in August.

One idea tossed around for the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H feud and SummerSlam is to have Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis in their respective corners. The plan would see Vince McMahon fire John Laurinaitis at Sunday's No Way Out pay-per-view only for Laurinaitis to return with Brock Lesnar with the help from WWE's Board of Directors. Vince would then side with Triple H as they build towards SummerSlam.

Even though I'm against the continued use of John Laurinaitis in current storylines, the inclusion of Vince McMahon would be a good choice after the ratings rose during his appearance on Raw last Monday night.

Outside of Laurinaitis and McMahon being at ringside for the match, the creative team for the WWE must have Lesnar go over in the match against Triple H, as a second loss since his return would almost make this venture a waste of time.

As the WWE begins to plan for the marquee match between Triple H and Lesnar, what do you think of the aforementioned plan at this moment with Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis in the corners of their respective superstars?
