Sean Avery Sent to Hartford
Sean Avery is getting his second chance.
The Dallas Stars assigned the winger to the Hartford Wolfpack of the AHL. The Stars do not have a minor league affiliate of their own, but have made a deal with the Rangers to keep him in Hartford. Should the Stars bring him back up to the NHL, he would have to be put on re-entry waivers. Look for the New York Rangers to try and claim him.
If the Rangers want him this bad, I recommend making a trade with Dallas before they lose him.
Aaron Voros, Patrick Rissmiller, or Nigel Dawes could be traded. Any of these guys will clear cap and a spot on the roster for Sean Avery.
