Looking back at the past year, I began thinking of all the quarterbacks in the Mountain West Conference. Which one was the best? As far as stats go, Max Hall was the leader.  With regard to record, Brian Johnson lead.

Who was the best? Here are a few categories that I judged based on what I saw.  Feel free to comment.

Arm Strength

1—Billy Farris

2—Brian Johnson

3—Max Hall

Accuracy

1—Max Hall

2—Ryan Lindley

3—Brian Johnson

Speed

1—Tim Jefferson

2—Omar Clayton

3—Donovan Porterie*

Composure (not cracking under pressure)

1—Brian Johnson

2—Andy Dalton

3—Omar Clayton

Record

1—Brian Johnson

2—Andy Dalton

3—Max Hall

Statistics

1—Max Hall

2—Andy Dalton

3—Billy Farris

Team Leader/Impact Player

1—Max Hall

2—Brian Johnson

3—Donovan Porterie*

If first place is worth three points, second place worth two points, and third place worth one point, this is how they fair out.

1—Max Hall and Brian Johnson (11—tie)

2—Andy Dalton (six)

3—Billy Farris (four)

4—Tim Jefferson and Omar Clayton (three—tie)

5—Ryan Lindley and Donovan Porterie (tie)

*I put Porterie in because he is an impact player. I think they would have been a good team if he had not been hurt.
