Manchester United have already had an incredible summer transfer window.

They've confirmed new players for next season, are right in contention for others, and rumored to be tracking several other high-profile stars that could be making their way to Old Trafford next season.

With the rich history and prestige that comes with the Red Devils, the club is always going to be linked and involved with a plethora of football stars—to the point that it can be tough to keep track of them all.

That's what we're here for then—to track all the latest Manchester United transfer rumors and updates for you and put them all in one place. Read on to see who could be a Red Devil this summer.

Nick Powell

Nick Powell has been confirmed on a £3 million transfer deal from Crewe to Manchester United and contrary to reports in the Daily Mail, will not be shipped out on loan next season.

Sir Alex Ferguson has already greatly praised the youngster—stating that he has the ability to have the same impact at Old Trafford that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo had when he arrived.

Time will tell on that one.

Shinji Kagawa

After agreeing to a move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United, Shinji Kagawa comes to Old Trafford under a weight of expectation to perform—particularly with all the hype and sensationalism that surrounded his transfer.

Current United midfielder Park Ji-Sung believes that the hype won't have an impact on the Japanese star and is confident that he will make the transition successfully and continue to become a world-class player at United.

Klaas-Jun Huntelaar

After his Schalke manager confirmed the buy-out clause in his contract,  Klaas-Jun Huntelaar could be available for as little as £17 million—a seemingly good price for a player of his ability and skill.

Huntelaar has been a long-time interest of United and with the international striker scoring 29 goals in 32 Bundesliga matches last season, would be an excellent addition to the Red Devils' squad.

Having said that, I can't see United picking up another striker—regardless of how good he might be—with Huntelaar more likely to sign for Tottenham or Arsenal should he make a move to the English Premier League.

Robert Lewandowski

Speaking of strikers that United don't need, the rumors surrounding Robert Lewandowski's possible move to Old Trafford over the summer transfer window appear to be false, with Borussia Dortmund general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke dismissing suggestions of a move.

"I don't know how often we have got to stress that Robert Lewandowski will certainly be staying with us..."

The CEO of Dortmund also chimed in with his firm stance on the matter.

Luka Modric

United are reportedly on the verge of a £30 million bid for Luka Modric, though no bid has officially been placed for the Tottenham and Croatian midfielder.

Croatian teammate Vedran Corluka is convinced that Modric will leave White Hart Lane over the summer transfer window, with a move to United or Paris St Germain the two most likely landing spots.

Jeremy Menez

Paris Saint-Germain winger Jeremy Menez has revealed that he had the opportunity to join Manchester United when he was a teenager, but decided against the move.

He revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson made a lasting impression on him and that he would always want to play for the club, but does not regret his decision to not sign with the Premier League giants.

No transfer rumor has been started yet with a possible move—just trying to get out ahead and deny this one before it even begins.

Dede

Both Manchester clubs, as well as AC Milan, are rumored to be interested in Vasco de Gama defender Dede after an Italian media outlet published a story with the potential transfer.

Vasco president Roberto Dinamite revealed the interest in the defender and stated that:

"[Whilst] there's been no official offer from Milan, there is interest from Italy, France, Spain and England. If an important offer arrives, we would be willing to sell. I do not think he wants leave before his contract expires [2014]..."

Stevan Jovetic

Another striker, another Manchester United transfer rumor—this time for Fiorentina striker Steven Jovetic, after the club admitted they do not know if he wants to leave the club or stay.

Chelsea, Juventus and Napoli have also been linked to the striker, who scored 14 goals in 27 appearances during Seire A this season. But with four years left on his contract at the club, and management and officials still desperate to keep him there, this one also looks like a highly unlikely move.

Reports are circulating that Berkitas have made a move for Manchester United striker Federico Macheda after Millyiet claimed that the Turkish side made an approach to sign the Italian youngster on loan with the intention for a long-term contract.

The striker is rated around £6 million, but it is emphasized there has been no response from the Red Devils yet.

Leighton Baines

Everton defender Leighton Baines continues to be linked with a possible move to Old Trafford although the Toffees have had no official inquiry on the English international.

Baines has no need to leave Goodison Park despite United's need to consolidate their defense and find a replacement for Patrice Evra, and he doesn't appear to be leaving Everton anytime in the near future.

Perhaps we'll hear more on this one after England bomb out of Euro 2012.
