With the No. 1 seed in the Big East conference tournament on the line, Georgetown holds off Louisville to claim the top spot.

In a battle of No. 11 vs. No. 12, in the country, DaJuan Summers hit a three-pointer with 40 seconds to play and the Hoyas celebrated Senior Day with a 55-52 victory.

The Cardinals (24-7, 14-4) forced 17 turnovers, but they went 4-for-18 shooting from three-point range and 10-for-18 shooting from the free-throw line, in the three point loss.

Freshman Austin Freeman stole the show by scoring 15 points for the Hoyas, who now have won 12 of 14 games and have won 22 straight home games.

Georgetown has now won back to back titles for the first time in school history.
