Two well rested teams will meet on the floor at Rupp Arena in Lexington for what is always a monster match up in the SEC. While the Wildcats come in on a 3 game losing streak, they'll have no problem getting fired up for this one as the Gators come to town.
Florida is a young team but have shot the lights out on occasion, just when many were expecting inconsistent play. Florida has yet to play a top 25 ranked team so far this season while UK has faced four top 25 ranked teams and 6 of the RPI top 50.
Florida has gone 6-2 in conference play while Kentucky is 5-3 in the always competitive SEC. While Florida has spread the ball around and has looked for minutes at a time like they may never miss another shot, the Wildcats often tend to lean on their leader, Jodie Meeks too much and other teams have been taking him out of the game, maybe this is where the extra days of rest will really help the Cats.
While Florida has an outstanding overall record, they are just 3-3 on the road so far this season.
