A goal-less draw was the outcome to this fierce North London derby. A controversial match nonetheless, but despite the lack of balls flying into the back of the net it was all in all a truly great game to watch.
There were rushes of blood, glimpses of brilliance, and almost a something out of nothing.
Manuel Almunia
8
Easily the best performer and leader for Arsenal.
The Spaniard was excellent in goal. He looked confident in the air, was dominant and imposing, and pulled of a number of fine saves especially when it mattered at the death.
Bacary Sanga
6
Not his best performance, but a decent one nonetheless.
Relatively solid and was decent in small doses when attacking, which was not often.
William Gallas
8
A great game from the French center half. With his maturity and leadership in place, he was almost impossible to get past.
A lovely performance.
Kolo Toure
5.5
No where near as good as his center half partner Gallas.
Blushes were saved thanks to some poor and expected finishing from Tottenham.
He was very clumsy.
Gael Clichy
5.5
Experienced many headaches dealing with the pace of Aaron Lennon and it;s a good thing he is a terrible finisher as Gael would have been at fault.
Some handy tackles and attacks at times.
Emmanuel Eboue
0.5
Stupid Moron.
Started reasonably well, but went into a sulk after his goal was disallowed and then was sent off.
Gets half a mark due to the fact he tripped up a player who deserved it, Modric.
Denilson
4.5
Rubbish.
Failed to put a pass together and was weak in defense.
Not one to remember.
Alexandre Song
5
Was a little better than Denilson in the middle due to his impressive defense. But his passing was awful and it's what we have come to expect from him.
Samir Nasri
6
Was occasionally brilliant with his pace and passing but he hid away too much and never really saw the ball enough.
Emmanuel Adebayor
N/A
Was sadly forced off with an injury and it was a real shame as he loves a derby.
Robin van Persie
7
Frustration as he never got, the ball enough but, when he did he was neat and tidy.
Almost made something out of nothing.
Nicklas Bendtner
Came in for the injured Adebayor and was neat and tidy, but saw too much ball which should of been van Persie's.
