SEC Basketball Rankings for Feb. 9, 2009—Who is the Best?

What a wacky week in the SEC. LSU kept on winning. Florida—South Carolina was the best game of the week and might have offered a preview of a SEC Tournament Final, if they both are playing well in March. The East race will heat up again this week, with Florida and Kentucky matching up for the first time this year.

Vanderbilt was a team on the move this week, defeating Alabama and Ole Miss. Auburn surprised Tennessee on Sunday, and Georgia is still really, really bad. After Mississippi State at No. 4, this conference is a big pot of jumbled chili and peanut butter sandwiches.
