Upper Deck obviously knows how to score—goals, that is.

Jam-packed with autographs, game-jerseys, and serial-numbered rookie cards, Upper Deck delivers “iced” cardboard like only SPx can.

What we really enjoyed about this product was the potential for high-value in every box.

For beginners, every box contains at least one autographed game-jersey rookie card, as well as a dual game-jersey rookie card, which is serial-numbered.

For those collectors lucky enough to pull one (they fall one per case, on average), SPx contains the uber-popular “Flashback Fabrics” dual-game jersey autograph.

Some of the major stars represented in the set include Alexander Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, and Mark Messier, just to name a few.

We were lucky enough to pull a Peter Stastny Flashback Fabrics!

The base set shares the same design as its baseball counterpart, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

There are also serial-numbered subsets, including SPXtreme, which contains current-day superstars as well as ice legends including Bobby Orr, and are serial-numbered to 999.

As far as hockey products go, SPx is one of the best. You get 18 packs per box, which generally sell for $100-125.
