WWE News: Dolph Ziggler Named No. 1 Contender for World Heavyweight Championship

Tonight on Raw, Dolph Ziggler won a Fatal-4-Way Elimination Match to become the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
In case you're not aware, WWE has had to pull Alberto del Rio from the match because of a concussion he suffered at the taping of last week's Smackdown.
The match that Ziggler won also included Jack Swagger, Christian and The Great Khali.
An early pinfall saw Khali eliminated leaving Christian, Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler, three of the best wrestlers in the company, to fight it out for supremacy.
Jack Swagger has been buried for most of the last two years and his tag-team with Ziggler has recently imploded, so it was no surprise when his former partner pinned him and Swagger was eliminated.
Christian is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship at No Way Out against Cody Rhodes so odds were he wasn't going to be victorious.
Ziggler and Christian went back and forth for several minutes before Ziggler eventually hit the Zig Zag and claimed a pinfall victory over the former World (and current Intercontinental) Champion.
Throughout the match, Ziggler was booked strongly and was involved directly in every pinfall while the live crowd in Hartford, CT were loudly chanting "Let's Go Ziggler."
WWE's hand might have been forced into putting Ziggler in the main-event at No Way Out, but if they're clever, they'll let him make the spot his own.
