In a recent Twitter post, Dixie Carter all but confirmed that Christian will appear at this Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view. His possible appearance will most likely be used to present him as the first inductee of the TNA Hall of Fame.
The WWE has removed him from this weekend's events. This adds an even greater chance of seeing Christian in a TNA ring this Sunday.
Similar to Ric Flair (then on the TNA roster), Christian would be the second wrestler of the year to cross opponent promotion lines for the purposes of a Hall of Fame. However, this possible appearance does not seem to be as controversial as the appearance of Ric Flair.
Out of all the possible candidates to be inducted to the TNA Hall of Fame, Christian—or Christian Cage in TNA—definitely deserves to be one of the top choices. His debut in 2005 boosted the credibility of TNA. He utilized his run in the promotion to its fullest potential, revitalizing his career and capturing two NWA World Heavyweight Championships along the way.
Christian has received the unique accomplishment of being an NWA, ECW, and World Heavyweight Champion—something even his best friend Edge cannot lay claim to.
If the rumors are indeed true, this will be a well-deserved notch in the career of Christian. Seemingly, he is a shoe-in WWE Hall of Famer, which would make his possible induction into the TNA Hall of Fame even more rewarding.
What are your thoughts on Christian possibly being the first inductee of the TNA Hall of Fame?

***Update: Christian (Cage) did indeed appear at the TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view. He cut a "thank you" promo to the audience and introduced the number one moment in TNA history, teaming with the returning Sting against Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown.***
