Portsmouth Sack Tony Adams: Who Can Keep Pompey Up?

Glen JonesContributor IFebruary 8, 2009

Portsmouth have tonight sacked Tony Adams, according to Sky Sports, who are quoting sources at the club. A meeting was called after the Blues threw away the lead twice against Liverpool.

I think you have to have sympathy for Adams.  The team seemed up for it against the reds, but again it was a couple of individual howlers from Crouch and Distin that cost Pompey dear.

So as Tony Adams departs, who has the tactical knowledge and man management skills to keep Portsmouth up?

Please use the poll, or reply to throw any other names into the mix.
