It is summer and that means real football news can be hard to come by, but there are still nuggets to be found out there. Here are some items to get your day started.
Berry Tramel writes for the Oklahoman, and posted his thoughts on the out-of-conference schedules that each SEC team is facing in 2012. Tramel does not seem too high on the Hogs' out-of-league opposition this year. You can also see how he has ranked the rest of the SEC.
It is always interesting to hear writers gripe about any SEC schedule when it comes to non-league foes. It seems like they forget that playing through the conference is tough enough already.
Yahoo Sports has an article rating the top conference by offensive position group. While Texas A&M and Arkansas like the idea of hosting recruits at off-campus sites, it seems that an agreement has been reached by Florida and Georgia that their annual game in Jacksonville will not include recruits being hosted by the home team.

In baseball news, it was a great day for three Arkansas players who were selected in the Major League baseball draft. Matt Reynolds, DJ Baxendale and Nolan Sanburn were all selected on the second day of the draft. Check out the link to find out which team took each player and in what round.
Will Arkansas beat Baylor in their NCAA Super Regional?
They will join the rest of their Arkansas teammates this week in Waco as they take on the Baylor Bears in a super regional round of the NCAA baseball tourney.
