This Friday's UFC on FX 3 will feature the second semifinal bout of the UFC's inaugural flyweight tournament. The winner of the fight between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall will move on to a 125-pound title fight against Joseph Benavidez later this year.

In a meeting earlier this year, Johnson and McCall fought to a draw. The bout was scheduled to include a sudden-death fourth round to prevent a delay in the flyweight tournament, but commission officials incorrectly tabulated the scores and announced Johnson the winner. Once it was discovered that the fight should have gone to an extra round, it was already too late for the fighters to return to the cage.

The fight card will also include several important fights in other divisions.

In welterweight action, Erick Silva will attempt to continue his rise toward the top of the 170-pound division against Charlie Brenneman. Additionally, up-and-coming journeymen Mike Pyle and Josh Neer will make bids to become contenders in the welterweight division.

In the main card's opening bout, the bantamweight class will be represented with a fight between Scott Jorgensen and Eddie Wineland.

Before Friday's event, the fighters will hit the scales at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida, on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. Video of the weigh-ins will be streamed live on the above video player. After the weigh-ins, stay tuned to B/R MMA for all the latest on UFC on FX 3 and the rest of your MMA needs.
