Henry announced he was undergoing surgery (reportedly for his shoulder) last month. He also indicated shortly afterwards that he would leave the company and retire from wrestling if he felt he could no longer perform at the level he once did.
But regardless of what has been claimed, Henry's update signals that the former World Heavyweight Champion is more motivated than ever to get back on WWE television. At a time when the promotion needs all the stars it can get, this can surely be considered welcome news.
