Gagne, who suffered a concussion back in December, will be inserted into the Kings' lineup in place of fourth line left winger Brad Richardson.
Gagne played just 34 games this season before being sidelined for the rest of the regular season and most of the playoffs. However, Gagne has been skating and practicing with the team for a few weeks, and was cleared to play last Thursday.
Richardson, who Gagne is expected to replace, has played 13 games this postseason and has tallied just one goal.
The 32-year-old Gagne brings over one hundred games playoff experience and 59 career playoff points to the Kings roster.
It would be a fitting full circle for Gagne, who scored his first goal as a Los Angeles King against Martin Brodeur back on October 13th of this season.
