Chelsea have completed the signing of Lille 21-year-old midfielder, Eden Hazard.
The highly rated Belgian is thought to have agreed to personal terms and passed a medical test.
It was rumored that Hazard may move to some of the other big English clubs including Manchester United or Manchester City, but the player moved to quash those rumors by clarifying that he would be moving to the Champions League winners.
Speaking about the move, Hazard expressed his happiness at joining the Blues: "I'm delighted to finally arrive here, it's a wonderful club and I can't wait to get started."
Having helped Lille to third place in the Ligue 1 in France, his biggest achievement arguably was helping the side to win a league and cup double in the 2010/11 season.
He scored 21 goals and provided 18 assists in 48 games this season and can play in a variety of positions including the striker role.
Hazard becomes the fourth Belgain to join Chelsea following the arrivals of Romelu Lukaku, Thibaut Courtois and Kevin De Bruyne.
There is no word yet as to the transfer fee paid or the player's salary, but no doubt it had a hand in his going to Chelsea and not City or United. He is Chelsea's second signing of the summer, joining 23-year-old midfielder Marko Marin who was acquired from Werder Bremen.
