With no trophies coming to Old Trafford this season, Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to shuffle things up in Manchester.

After missing out on the Premier League title on goal difference alone, the right move for Fergie would most likely be to simply trim the fat off of the roster rather then to call for a revolution.

Here are the players most likely to leave Manchester United before the 2012-2013 season begins.

Who do you think will leave Manchester United next year? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Nani

Groomed to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement when the Portuguese international left for Spain, Nani fell out of favor with Ferguson once Young and Valencia started playing more consistently.

Nani’s talks over a contract extension have stalled since then, according to Goal.com. Even though Nani has two years left on his contract, it remains to be seen whether or not Manchester United see the same type of value in Nani that he sees in himself.

Federico Macheda

Another year, another failed loan spell.

Federico Macheda has come a long way from that sublime last-minute goal against Aston Villa—in his debut, no less. He's still young, though, so Man U fans shouldn't worry about Macheda leaving permanently.

Watch out for another loan spell to be in the works for Macheda to gain more experience before he becomes a realistic choice for Manchester's first team.

Park Ji-Sung

The aging South Korean midfielder would best look elsewhere for first-team action next season.

An injury-blighted season prevented Park Ji-Sung from fully performing this past season and was only allowed 10 league appearances.

This man’s devotion to his team is rare. It’s clear that he wants to stay, but it doesn’t seem like Manchester United feel the same way.

Look for Park Ji-Sung to take his talents elsewhere—maybe Turkey.

Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba is Juventus-bound, and he’s pissed off Fergie so much so that he ordered the French youngster to train alone for the remainder of his time there.

With only a few appearances for Manchester United, it’s clear that Pogba feels he is ready for first-team football with a top club somewhere in Europe.

Juventus, undefeated Serie A champions, seemed the most attractive destination, and it’s all but confirmed that Paul Pogba will be plying his trade in Turin next season.

Dimitar Berbatov

Dimitar Berbatov went from being Manchester United’s top scorer in the 2010-2011 season to the most unwanted man in Manchester in about a year.

The Bulgarian international has already declared his intention to leave, and it’s only a matter of time before he says goodbye to Old Trafford.

I have to admit, it’s very bittersweet seeing him leave considering the vast amount of potential he had in him.
