While there is no doubting that the team from China is good, they will be destroyed by the best team in the world. I’ll take the over and I’ll take Spain giving three goals.

Key Matchup: Alvaro Negredo vs. Anyone China Uses to Defend Him

While Alvaro Negredo isn’t the biggest star in this matchup, the disparaging matchup between these two teams and the game's proximity to the start of the Euro Cup will have as many starters sitting as possible as the time ticks away. That means more Negredo.

Spanish star Negredo told ESPN about the doubts he had about making the team and the new fuel for his emotional fire:

I had doubts if I was going to be in the European Championships because I knew the competition was very tough. Soldado and Adrian, the two players who finally missed out, had very strong seasons. I had doubts right up until the last minute but I also knew I had a chance and in the end I got in.

With a great season, Negredo will look to bring his offensive momentum into this meeting and possibly earn himself a starting spot in the lineup. With goals in nine of his last 10 games, he is arguably one of the hottest goal scorers in the world right now.

Prediction: Spain 6, China 1

With better strikers, more efficient defensive looks and an edge in net, there is no part of the Chinese team on paper that looks better than the Spanish national team. As good as China is, they will be destroyed by arguably the greatest team in the world.

As long as the Spaniards don’t mail in their effort, they will cruise past an overmatched and outclassed team.
