Dave's College Basketball Picks, Feb.7: South Alabama at Western Kentucky

South Alabama (13-10, 6-6) at Western Kentucky (16-7, 10-2)

Line:Western Kentucky -7

With their second win in a row on Thursday, the Jaguars seem to have put the three game losing streak behind them.  South Alabama was solid in their 68-65 victory over North Texas shooting 51 percent from the field including 4 of 7 from behind the arch.  The Jaguars face their toughest conference challenge Saturday against the first place Hilltoppers who won the first match in the Mitchell Center 66-69 way back on December 18^th.

Western Kentuckygained a 9 point victory over Louisiana- Monroe on Thursday, but was unable to pull away from the last place Warhawks. A road contest against second place Troy is next after Saturdays game.

Western Kentucky is 9-12 against the spread including 4-5 at home

South Alabama has been an outstanding road team all year. I look for them to keep this one close and make a run at a victory.
