Guy Lafleur's legal battle continues.

The former 14-year NHL veteran with the Montreal Canadiens was charged with obstructing justice when he told the court his son was respecting his bail conditions by sleeping at the family home on Ile-Bizard.

Police later discovered a receipt that showed his son was sleeping in a hotel.

A judge will decide next week about the validity of the arrest warrant.

Lafleur's son was charged with death threats, forcible confinement, and assault. He pleaded guilty last June and received a community sentence of 15 months.
