Spoiler Alert: Sin Cara returned at the SmackDown taping this past Tuesday, and he's made some small changes. If you do not want to know about those changes, stop reading now.
As mentioned above, Sin Cara returned to SmackDown this past Tuesday, and has made some small changes. One change that has been made is that Sin Cara now wears red instead of blue. Considering WWEshop.com is advertising a new Sin Cara shirt with a red mask on it, the change seems to be permanent rather than a one-night thing (such as Sin Cara's white attire at Money In The Bank).
Another change Sin Cara has made is that he no longer gets into the ring using a trampoline to jump over the ropes. Instead, Sin Cara slides into the ring and does a somersault off the ropes as pyro goes off.
It is too early to tell if Sin Cara's move-set has been changed, but it seems no other changes have been made at this time. The special lighting that has been seen in most of Sin Cara's matches is still present, and Sin Cara is still a high-flying, high-risk superstar.
The question remains, are the changes a good or bad thing?
Considering that Sin Cara has botched his trampoline jump many times in the past (like here), perhaps it's a good thing that the trampoline has been removed. Was the jump over the ropes even that impressive to begin with? What would be more impressive is if Sin Cara were to jump over the ropes without help from a trampoline.
Sin Cara's brand-new red attire also seems like a good change. According to InfoPlease,
The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. Red clothing gets noticed and decorators say that red furniture should be perfect since it will attract attention.
As for Sin Cara's previous color (blue),
The color of the sky and the ocean, blue causes the opposite reaction as red. Peaceful, tranquil blue causes the body to produce calming chemicals, so it is often used in bedrooms. Blue can also be cold and depressing. Fashion consultants recommend wearing blue to job interviews because it symbolizes loyalty.
Considering red stimulates a faster heartbeat and attracts attention, perhaps red is a better-suited color than blue for Sin Cara's stimulating and attractive ring-style. Also, considering blue symbolizes loyalty (what babyface wrestlers should possess), wearing red makes it easier for Sin Cara to turn heel if he ever wanted to do so.
What do you think? Do you like the changes? Will they help Sin Cara?
