Safe & Bold NBA Draft Predictions

The NBA draft is almost upon us.

In just a few short weeks, we'll get to witness the most important event of the year for the 14 teams that didn't make the playoffs. A lot is at stake here, as teams like the Bobcats and Wizards will be making tough choices to help their teams move out of obscurity and into the upper echelon of the NBA.

There are a lot of great prospects this year, with schools such as Kentucky, UConn and UNC dominating the conversation. The Wildcats' unibrowed phenomenon Anthony Davis is the consensus pick for No. 1, but under him is a daily shuffle, with wildly different "expert" draft boards popping up across the Web.

NBA contributor Aliko Carter has some ideas of his own about who will likely fall where. Here are three safe predictions and three bold predictions for the NBA draft coming up on June 28!
