We're creeping into summertime, and everyone is eyeballing their 2012 college football schedules wondering where the area for opportunity truly exists.
Some schools look at their schedules and see one or two tough games that will ultimately be the difference between a double-digit win season and an eight-win campaign. Other folks are staring down the barrel of a four-game stretch that will decide whether their squad goes to a bowl or spends the holidays at home.
As far as overall schedules go, Notre Dame comes to mind as a team that is going to be running the gauntlet in 2012.
Flying to Ireland to take on Navy. Heading to Norman to take on Oklahoma. USC has the Irish on the schedule as they push for a BCS championship. Not to mention Michigan, Michigan State and a couple other games that can absolutely result in losses for Brian Kelly's team.
The question is, do the Fighting Irish have the toughest schedule in college football for 2012?
