The Oakland Press is reporting that the Detroit Lions will retain running back coach Sam Gash, wide receiver coach Shawn Jefferson and special teams coach Stan Kwan.

Gash began his coaching career with the New York Jets in 2005 as their assistant running backs / assistant special teams coach and joined the Lions in the same capacity in 2007. Gash took over as running back coach last season. Kwan will return for his third season as special teams coach and tenth season with the Lions over two stints. Jefferson will be returning for his fifth season with the Lions, second as wide receiver coach.
