CLEMSON — Sitting in the back of a Clemson University Police Department cruiser, Sammy Watkins asked, “When do we get these handcuffs off? I’ve never been in handcuffs.”

Clemson’s star rising freshman wide receiver was calm throughout his May 3 arrest for possession of marijuana and a pair of pills used to control ADHD and classified as controlled substances, a videotape from the arresting officer’s dashboard camera shows.
