Tyronn Lue and Keith Bogans Traded
How angry is Keith Bogans today? One minute, he's on the Orlando Magic—one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Next, he's headed back to the free-falling organization that is the Milwaukee Bucks. In exchange for Keith Bogans, the Bucks have sent guard Tyronn Lue back to the Orlando Magic.
If the name Keith Bogans sounds familiar to Bucks fans, it should. Milwaukee drafted him out of Kentucky in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft. He's spent time with the Bobcats and the Rockets, but has spent the majority of his career in Orlando. This season, he's averaging 5.4 points and 3.1 rebounds for the Magic.
This trade was made as the result of major injuries to both clubs. Milwaukee is without Michael Redd, and the Magic have just lost Jameer Nelson for the season. Bogans may be mad about his new situation as far as the playoffs go, but he'll undoubtedly see more time in Milwaukee than he did in Orlando. This is a minor trade.
Welcome back—kind of—Keith Bogans.
