Michigan State junior Le'Veon Bell is about as complete a running back as one can find in college football. Sometimes he uses a spin move to get more yards. Sometimes he uses a stiff-arm. Sometimes he just drops his shoulder and grinds out the tough yards. "I kind of look at Le'Veon Bell as a unique type of back," offensive coordinator Dan Roushar said. Coach Mark Dantonio recently told a Columbus (Ohio) radio station that Bell reminded him of a young Keith Byars. The former Ohio State running back was a Heisman Trophy runner-up who went on to have a long NFL career.
