Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi has received a decent share of positive career publicity over the last few months.

Texas A&M and others tried to lure the Spartans' five-year veteran DC after he produced and directed the nation's sixth-ranked defense last season. Recently, Michigan State rewarded the 46-year-old Narduzzi with a raise, bumping his salary to $500,000 from $235,000 in 2011, putting him more in line with (though still behind) many of his peers down the road and down South.
