How Many Games Should Nick Fairley Be Suspended?

Lots of folks think the Detroit Lions are a dark-horse candidate to make it to the Super Bowl this year, but first, they need to get out of the offseason in one piece. And what an offseason it’s been.

Tuesday’s workout was actually closed to the media, as it marked the return of Titus Young, he of sucker-punching teammate Delmas Young fame. It was also reported that Nick Fairley made a triumphant return to the Motor City after his second run-in with the law in as many months.

Last month in his home state of Alabama, Fairley was arrested for possession of marijuana. On Sunday, after trying to elude police, he was arrested for a DUI. It was reported Fairley was driving over 100 mph while impaired.

How will Roger Goodell discipline Detriot's 2011 first-round draft pick?

For starters, Fairley should not be able to drive in Alabama anymore. As far as a suspension goes, well, that's up for debate.
