Vanderbilt Video: Watch Vandy Pull off Rare Triple Steal to Shock Florida

If you are going to pull off an epic come-from-behind victory, you might as well do it with the rarest of style and panache.

Vanderbilt pulled off one of the rarest of feats: the triple steal.

This is such a magical moment because it takes so many things working together to pull this off. You need three men on, they all need to be swift of foot and the opposition has to pretty much go on siesta in the middle of a game.

No. 2 Florida decided to take a brief nap during the ninth inning of Saturday's game and it cost them a trip to the SEC Tournament Championship Game.

Vandy pulled off a triple steal and built a ridiculous rally that saw them win 8-6. WTVY reports on the specifics of a game that delivered the goods in highlight form.

Of course, you can't have it all and this amazing play delivered some short-lived goodwill for the Commodores.

Vanderbilt pulled off a once-in-a-generation type play only to lose to Mississippi State in the Final on Sunday.

Getting the win would have been the icing on top of the rarest of cakes, but we will take what we can get and nothing sullies this magnificent play.

Memo to all you pitchers out there—the next time you load the bases, take solace in knowing it could all be worse.

They could all steal on you.
