After once again leaving the WWE like he said he would never do again, the plans for his return have been leaked by The Rock himself after not being seen on WWE television since his promo at the beginning of the post-WrestleMania RAW SuperShow.

Here are the details on what Rock said on his Twitter account when asked about his return to the WWE on Friday evening.

@TrueGodImmortal They asked I come back start of 2013. Have 3 films to shoot so trying to make it work. Miss that electricity though man.

To keep with his proclamation on the RAW SuperShow following WrestleMania XXVIII in April, the WWE will likely work out a way for Rock to capture the WWE title from the current champion as he returns for the start of the Road to WrestleMania.

With a January return to the company, The Rock could be a surprise entrant in the 2013 Royal Rumble match where he can earn a title shot for the WWE Championship at the upcoming WrestleMania XXIX in East Rutherford, N.J.

As a winner of the Royal Rumble, The Rock would still be able to miss some episodes of RAW through the Road to WrestleMania, but who would he face for the championship at the biggest event of the year for the WWE?

Following WrestleMania XXVIII, there were rumors floating around that Rock would face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at next year’s WrestleMania which could be set up as a rematch from their contest at SummerSlam 2002.

The possible main event between Rock and Lesnar for the WWE Championship next year could very well top the hype along with the awesome match between The Great One and John Cena at this past WrestleMania.

With his return possibly planned for the beginning of 2013, what would you like to see The Rock do during his likely-short run through the Road to WrestleMania and who is opponent is in his probable match at WrestleMania XXIX?
