By now, you’ve heard the news that WWE RAW is set to make a permanent move to three hours starting July 23rd.
The announcement has caused outrage among distressed wrestling fans who are already subject to several hours of WWE TV each week on top of monthly three hour pay-per-views.
The commemoration of the 1,000th RAW will not be without controversy, but as they say, controversy creates cash.
Or does it?
Will the move be an abject failure given the lingering roster depth issues in the WWE, or are there ways that the much-maligned three-hour RAW could actually work?
Could more wrestling or even an hour long preshow prove to be the saving grace on marathon Mondays, or will this move be doomed from the start?
How quickly will fans catch on to the added hour? Or will they eventually become burnt out?
Watch Alfred “Big Nasty” Konuwa and Justin LaBar debate this hot topic as they discuss the pros and cons of a three hour RAW.
