WWE Raw: Top 5 Superstars to Watch out for

1 of 6

Last night, WWE presented a very entertaining Over the Limit pay-per-view. While it did not show a lot of promise before Sunday, the company came through and delivered!

Tonight, the road to yet another pay-per-view begins. No Way Out will be the next big event in a few weeks, and Raw will set up the future in just a few hours. After a memorable show last night, many Superstars will be watched closely tonight.

Who are they? Let's find out!

5. John Laurinaitis

    Nothing has changed.

John Laurinaitis was in charge of Raw before the weekend. Now, he is still in charge of Raw. Thus, he should continue his reign as Mr. Excitement.

He may be the same authority figure, but his abuse of power may be extremely high tonight!

4. Christian

Christian won the Intercontinental Championship last night.

It was the only title change of the night. Every other champion retained their title. Cody Rhodes did not have such luck last night, as Captain Charisma won his title.

While logic says both of them are on Smackdown, let's be honest: With the Supershow concept still going on, expect many Blue Brand talents to appear tonight.

I want to see if the "old" title design stays. Rhodes re-introduced the belt many months ago, and I hope it stays around for Christian.

On top of that, what is the veteran's character?

Face? Heel? Hopefully, not a "tweener!"

Hopefully, we get some answers tonight on Raw.

3. John Cena

What is next for John Cena?

He lost to The Rock at WrestleMania.

He was destroyed by Brock Lesnar in April but got the victory.

He lost to Lord Tensai on Raw during that time period as well.

Last night, John Laurinaitis pinned him in the middle of the ring. His losing streak has been well discussed as his new direction, but who knows where it ends up next.

I think we will learn more tonight.

2. Punk/Bryan

5 of 6

    You can't just pick one.

Right now, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are one in the same. One holds the WWE Title, while the other can wrestle move for move with him.

Last night, the two stepped up and had an excellent match. If you did not buy this event, I highly suggest purchasing the replay just to see this.

While Punk did come out on top last night, it was as close as you can get. Bryan certainly could make a claim for a title re-match as soon as possible.

I doubt many would have a problem with that.

1. Big Show

6 of 6

The Big Show helped Laurinaitis defeat John Cena last night at Over the Limit. I am not sure it qualifies as an official heel turn, but we will find out soon enough.

I seem to remember Teddy Long working for Johnny Ace, in order to help out his grandchildren. He is, reluctantly, doing so to keep his job. Perhaps Big Show will do the exact same.

He is doing all of this to stay in the company. A similar story occurred a few years ago. JBL ruled over Shawn Michaels in order for him to help care for his family.

There are tons of ways for this story to go. From Show turning heel and being a bodyguard for Mr. Excitement to playing a sympathetic face just wanting to keep his job.

It is going to be an interesting night on WWE Raw.
