Who Should Be Michael Vick's Backup?

NFL Draft 365Official AccountJune 3, 2016

In an election year, what better time to talk about candidates? No, not presidential candidates, instead, those vying to become Michael Vick's backup for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Like any national election, plenty of options exist.

There's the incumbent, Mike Kafka, who played backup in Philadelphia last year. There's also recently signed Trent Edwards, who signed a deal with the Eagles in the offseason—his fourth team in six years.

The Eagles had a tremendous draft, including Nick Foles out of Arizona in the third round.

The competition to become Vick's backup should be interesting to watch.
