LSU Tops SEC Basketball Power Rankings For Feburary 2nd

The ACC and SEC BlogSenior Analyst IFebruary 3, 2009

This week in the SEC brought us our second firing of the season in Dennis Felton's dismissal from Georgia. You have teams coming on strong as of late like South Carolina and LSU as well teams that can beat anyone or loss to anyone on a given night, like Kentucky and Tennessee.

Florida missed out on grabbing the top spot by falling at Tennessee on ESPN Gameday this past Saturday. LSU continues its winning ways with wins at Tennessee and home vs Arkansas. But the team of the week has to be South Carolina who went into Lexington and beat Kentucky on Darin Horn's homecoming.
