Andrew Bynum Out 8-12 Weeks (again); Los Angeles Lakers Season In Peril?

Jason Coldiron@@tweetme1979Correspondent IFebruary 2, 2009

Andrew Bynum is out 8-12 weeks. This is absolutely huge. It is almost exactly the same as what happened last year. On that team, they lost because of the lack of physical play against the Celtics. They are now short a big man, two if you count Ronny Turiaf, who left in the offseason. If Gasol has to play center again, they are playing small. They may want to consider what big man they could get (Brad Miller?, Jermaine O'Neal?, Shawn Marion?) for Lamar Odom's expiring deal. The Lakers must learn from the past and be proactive in saving their season.
