Buffalo Bills: Better since Offseason Releases and Additions?

The Bills can make a run at the playoffs this year.  They have really upgraded their team this offseason, especially where defense is concerned.

With the additions of Kawika Mitchell, Marcus Stroud, and Spencer Johnson, their defense should be a lot better than it was in 2007.  Mitchell is a significant upgrade over former starter Keith Ellison.

With the recent release of Larry Tripplett, Stroud will have a huge impact on the Bills defensive line this season.  Stroud is known to be a huge run stopper, and is a three-time Pro Bowler.

Spencer Johnson might be a no-name player, but he has some experience playing behind the Williams's in Minnesota.

Johnson is also a big upgrade over Tripplett.  And the Bills don’t appear to be done yet as they still have more free agents coming in, and of course they’ll have the draft in April.

Look for the Bills to draft a cornerback in the first round, if they do sign Bryant Johnson in free agency.

This team is destined to do good things in the upcoming season.
