Joliet Catholic Academy (Joliet, Illinois) blue-chip running back Ty Isaac announced that he has chosen USC over Michigan and Notre Dame.

Full Ride breaks down what Isaac’s commitment means to Lane Kiffin and the Trojans. Bleacher Report’s flagship college football recruiting program also looks at where Brian Kelly and Notre Dame will turn their focus, as well as where Michigan stands after being rebuffed by Isaac.

Isaac joins No. 1 quarterback recruit Max Browne in Troy, giving Kiffin and the Trojans a lethal duo that should carry them into the future.

The 6’2”, 215-pound feature back rushed for over 2,600 yards and 42 touchdowns as a junior is rated as the No. 6 tailback and No. 69 overall in the Class of the 2013. Isaac’s best career performance came in the Illinois Class 5A championship game, where he rushed for 515 yards and six touchdowns in a 70-45 loss.
