Tiger's Return Just Weeks Away
The golf season is underway, but is lacking the legend of the game, which leads to the question of when Tiger will return. Tiger has been playing a good amount at Isleworth Country Club near his home in Orlando, Florida. According to a source, Tiger had been taking aggressive shots with a slightly wider stance. Hank Haney, Woods' swing coach, denied any change in his swing and also gave no word on when Tiger will return.

The Buick Invitational has been known as one of Tiger's tournaments because he has won the last four of them and Buick "was" Woods' big sponsor. Tiger hasn't played the AT&T Pro-Am since 2002, so it would not be likely to see him there in 2009.

The first tournament we could see Tiger in would be the Northern Trust Open. He has played in the tournament 11 times, never winning it, but placing second twice.

On the other hand, his likely debut will be at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. I would expect to see Woods at this tournament because he won last year, as well as two other times in his career. It would also make sense because of the fact that Woods is sponsored by Accenture.

With Woods’ accelerated progress, we can look to see him sometime between the end of February to the middle of March. For the most recent updates on Tiger's status, check his website at Tigerwoods.com
