Transfer Rumors & Realities: Robinho for Drogba?

Could Robinho finally be heading to Chelsea? Will Didier Drogba really go to Manchester City? Robbie Keane to Tottenham? Will Andrei Arshavin finally sign the damn Arsenal contract? Will the questions stop?

Well, the transfer market is after all like a box of chocolates-you never know what you're going to get.

Who would have guessed that Liverpool's mega flop signing Robbie Keane will be linked to a 15m move back to Spurs just seven months after leaving White Hart Lane?

That's the point. You never know what you're going to get. And even when you do know what will eventually happen, you never know when!

When will Andrei Arshavin move to Arsenal? Will it be this transfer window or is he waiting for January 2015 to complete the move?

You never know what you're going to get, especially if you are a Manchester City fan. After all the snubs from world-class footballers who never get tired from kicking the ball and producing dazzling skills, it's time for City to target Didier Drogba.

What does a player search for when he loses his interest in football? Cash and lots of cash. What do City have? Cash and lots of cash.

The latest rumors have linked pint-sized Robinho to a summer move to mere paupers Chelsea while Drogba will switch to big-spenders City.

With Tottenham's current squad and mega spending and Robinho linked to Chelsea, R-R thinks that some crazy scientist has used his time machine, bringing us all back to the summer of 2008.

Wigan's Antonio Valencia, who snubbed Real Madrid's offer for him last week, is reportedly ready to move to Old Trafford. The deal will likely be worth £15m.

Meanwhile Manchester City are looking to sell. Yes, it's not a typo. They do sell too.

City flop Jo, who moved to The City of Manchester from CSKA Moscow in the summer, is reportedly ready to pack his bags and sign for Everton on loan before February 2nd.

City are not only planning to sell every English player they have-they seemingly want a Brittish-free squad.

According to arbitrary reports today, Richard Dunne is set to move to Sunderland in a £5m deal.

Deep, deep breath..

Stoke want Gary O'neil, should he leave, Middlesbrough will replace him with James Harper, West Ham want to bring back Henrik Larsson to life, Hull are ready to attempt an ambitious bid for Darren Bent and Aston Villa are eying a deal for Micah Richards.

Bolton are in for a £3m bid for Sean Davis, Mikel Arteta is set to snub Manchester City and Arsenal and instead sign a new four-year deal with Everton while Bremen striker Hugo Almeida could be joining Jo in Goodison Park on loan.

Until next time,
