Anze Kopitar and the Los Angeles Kings are looking to earn a Stanley Cup Finals berth for the first time since 1993. The Phoenix Coyotes stand in their way.

Michael Del Zotto's goal in Game 7 against the Washington Capitals not only punched the New York Rangers' ticket to the Eastern Conference finals, but it also set the final four remaining teams in the NHL 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs.

The odds of the Phoenix Coyotes and Los Angeles Kings representing the Western Conference at the beginning of the season were slim, but that's where things stand nonetheless.

In the East, a ratings gem for the league, as the New Jersey Devils will face the New York Rangers in the conference finals for the first time since their famed showdown, which included a guarantee, in 1994.

Here are the updated odds for each of these final four teams to win the Stanley Cup in 2012. You'll see that the oddsmakers are buying into NHL parity.

Phoenix Coyotes

Phoenix looks pretty impressive after disposing of the high-powered Chicago Blackhawks and another strong contender in the Nashville Predators. Mike Smith has been stellar between the posts and Antoine Vermette, acquired in a trade this season, leads the team in scoring. Home-ice advantage could prove pivotal for the "desert dogs" as they take on the upstart Kings.

Los Angeles Kings

Just one loss so far in the 2012 playoffs for the Kings en route to thumping the top-seeded Vancouver Canucks and No. 2 seeded St. Louis Blues. Jonathan Quick has been nothing short of spectacular and the firing squad of Anze Kopitar, Mike Richards and Jeff Carter are earning their paychecks and living up to the billing. The Kings will need all four of them, and others, if they are now going to get past the Coyotes to qualify for the Stanley Cup Finals.

New Jersey Devils

Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise are playing arguably their best hockey of the season and Martin Brodeur is a stalwart in net as he's been his entire career. New Jersey struggled a bit with the Florida Panthers in the opening round, but came into form with aplomb, easily dispersing of rival Philadelphia in five games during the conference semifinals.

Up next, the New York Rangers. Time to party like it's 1994.

New York Rangers

The Broadway Blueshirts needed seven games to knock off both the Senators and Capitals, leaving some to wonder just how strong of a team they are. But, no matter, the Rangers' defensive, team-oriented style of play, anchored by Henrik Lundqvist, makes them an extremely difficult "out."

After dominating the Eastern Conference throughout the regular season, the Rangers are trying to ensure it won't be another 54 years before they hoist the cup on 34th Street.
